Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports that Rockies pitcher, Kyle Freeland, could rejoin the rotation when they travel to New York to take on the Mets in a four-game series. The Colorado native strained his shoulder during spring training and has been on the injury list ever since.
ICYMI: #Rockies LHP Kyle Freeland pitched 6 innings, allowed one run on two hits, with 4Ks, 1 walk, 1 hit batter. Threw 79 pitches. Expect him to pitch for next week vs. the Mets.
He finally looks set to make his return after some positive starts with their Triple-A Albuquerque team.
