Ertz was at one point considered one of the best receiving tight ends in football, but he’s coming off an injury-riddled season in 2020. He played just 11 games and finished with career-lows virtually across the board: 36 catches, 335 receiving yards, one touchdown. He’s become expendable for the Eagles, and ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports “at least three” teams are interested in acquiring his services. Fowler added that the Eagles wouldn’t part with Ertz “for nothing in return.” His departure would make Dallas Goedert the clear top tight end in Philadelphia, which would be great for his fantasy value.
