The Raptors have been playing shorthanded recently, and they’ll be even thinner for Thursday’s matchup vs. the Bulls. Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, Paul Watson, and Patrick McCaw all remain out of the lineups due to injuries, and DeAndre Bembry has been suspended for one game following an on-court altercation during Tuesday’s game vs. the Lakers. Bembry has started and played at least 30.1 minutes in each of the past two games, and his absence leaves the team extremely thin in the backcourt.
Malachi Flynn played 33.3 minutes off the bench on Tuesday, and he’s the most logical candidate to replace Bembry in the starting lineup.
