The NFL on Saturday reinstated a sixth-round pick they had originally taken away from the Las Vegas Raiders for violating the NFL-NFLPA COVID-19 protocols during the 2020 season. The $800K fine they were handed, however, still remains in place.
The Raiders fell apart at the end of last season, losing three of their last four games and missing the playoffs. Head coach Jon Gruden has made changes this offseason but not at quarterback, at least not yet, as Derek Carr remains entrenched as the starter. They have brought in Kenyan Drake at running back, a curious move as Josh Jacobs has become one of the better running backs in the league.
