It’s really been a rough few months of losing entertainment legends, and today the world has lost yet another mastermind. The iconic pop artist Prince, 57, was found dead in his home in Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minnesota on Thursday morning. His publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, released a statement on Thursday afternoon confirming that he had passed away.
“It is with profound sadness that I am confirming that the legendary, iconic performer, Prince Rogers Nelson, has died at his Paisley Park residence this morning at the age of 57,” said Noel-Schure.
Concern of Prince’s possible health issues arose earlier this month when Prince cancelled a concert in Atlanta after he said he wasn’t feeling well, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
