The Pistons are playing on the second leg of a back-to-back, and they have unsurprisingly ruled out a host of players for Thursday’s matchup vs. the Spurs. They have been resting the majority of their veterans in back-to-back situations recently, and Jerami Grant, Mason Plumlee, Cory Joseph, Wayne Ellington, Dennis Smith Jr., and Rodney McGruder have all been ruled out for this contest. Hamidou Diallo is also questionable, so there should be plenty of minutes available for the Pistons’ younger players on Thursday.
Isaiah Stewart stands out as their top option. He’s been absolutely dominant in games without Plumlee and Grant recently, averaging a stout 1.
