As a first-time head coach, Pat Narduzzi wants to get close to his players. Seriously close.
Pitt’s rookie coach told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette he’s staying in Sutherland Hall with his players in August to “emphasize the ‘camp’ mentality.”
“I’m staying in the dorm with them to get around them more, to see how they live, see what type of music they’re listening to in the evenings, what are they eating, those types of things,” Narduzzi said.
