Baseball just got a lot more fun today as the San Diego Padres activated their shortstop, Fernando Tatis Jr., from the COVID-19 injury list. Tatis won’t waste any time getting reacclimated as he’s back in the lineup hitting cleanup.
Prior to today’s game, the #Padres reinstated SS Fernando Tatis Jr. and 1B Eric Hosmer from the IL, optioned INF/OF Tucupita Marcano to Triple-A El Paso, and returned OF John Andreoli to El Paso.
The native Dominican has missed the last eight games for the Padres, but his team has gone 7-1 during that span and have outscored their opponents 45-18.
