Okay, so the title was a little misleading. Former UCLA great and current TV eccentric Bill Walton was on hand in Berkeley for the Bears game against #11 Oregon. Usually Walton is a little distracted during games, but tonight, a combination of an unexpected Cal blowout and anniversary of his life-saving surgery sent Walton to the Twilight Zone. Cal was ahead by 20 most of the night, so Walton waxed rhapsodically about the Grateful Dead, Mark Twain, and the instrument of the ages, the glockenspiel.
