The Indiana Pacers will be without Domantas Sabonis for the first time this season. Sabonis will miss his first game of the year after suffering a left ankle sprain in last night’s loss to the Charlotte, a game where the Hornets lost their own top player with Gordon Hayward going down with a more severe foot sprain. The Pacers big man left after playing 29 minutes where he scored eight points, had ten rebounds, and four assists. As mentioned, Sabonis has been Indiana’s iron man playing in every game this season. It’s unclear how much time he will miss but Sabonis did look like he was in an awful lot of pain after turning his ankle on Friday.
