That’s not a quote about Sandoval. It’s actually Triumph the Insult Comic Dog (real name: comedian/writer Robert Shmigel), talking to Chris Christie about a month ago. It was part of his Hulu political special, and the bit was Triumph scouting a restaurant where Christie was about to visit, and doing things like putting padlocks on the pastry case and widening the doors.
But it could be about Sandoval. Spring Training is just about over and Panda isn’t exactly svelt. There was much made of this at the beginning of camp, with citizens divided into two cams — those who said that Sandoval was too fat to succeed, and those who said his weight doesn’t matter.
