It’s not every day you see a basketball game end 1-0, but that’s officially how the Oregon Ducks got past the VCU Rams in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. The game was ruled No-Contest by NCAA officials due to COVID-19 protocols, and the Ducks were awarded a 1-0 victory.
The Rams had multiple positive COVD-19 tests, making it impossible for the NCAA to allow the game to go on. The first positive test was revealed on Monday, and two more were identified Friday night.
