1:37 PM PT -- New video footage shows the moment leading up to the Bourbon Street tragedy on New Year's ... where the truck that intentionally drove into a crowd, killing at least 15, is seen driving with a large pole attached to the back of it.
Watch the clip ... the vehicle in-question appears to pass law enforcement and seemingly speeds up before turning abruptly into an unsuspecting crowd. Please note, the footage cuts away before the moment of the attack itself.
