Ezekiel Elliott hopped into a kettle on Sunday night, but it’s Roger Goodell who’s in the hot water.
By now you may have seen Zeke’s econd-quarter TD celebration, when he scored on a 2-yard run during the Cowboys’ 26-20 win over visiting Tampa Bay. After scoring he ran to the back of the end zone and jumped into an enormous Salvation Army kettle, disappearing inside. Well, ’tis the season.
Elliott was penalized on the play — celebration with a prop. Now the world expects the other shoe to drop, because he’ll surely be fined as well. Others have been fined for far less, after all.
