Two of the biggest superstars in the world came face to face in NYC Wednesday ... when Brazilian soccer phenom Neymar met with Michael Jordan ... and decided to show off his (not terrible) hoop skills.
It all went down at Terminal 23 -- MJ's private basketball court -- where the two met up for a photo shoot and party to promote Neymar's shoe partnership with Jordan Brand.
It's funny ... there's one shot where they're standing next to each other and appear to be the same height -- until the camera pans down and reveals Neymar's standing on an apple box.
