The wait could finally be over for New York fans after being barred from attending sporting events for almost a year. On February 23rd, New York sports teams will be allowed to have fans back in the stadiums at a limited capacity. New York will allow up to 10% capacity at venues with at least a 10,000 percent seat capacity.
The Brooklyn Nets are the first New York team to receive the approval, and fans could be back inside the Barclays Center when they take on the Sacramento Kings on the 23rd. The Knicks will host the Warriors on the same day, but there is no word they’ve received the necessary approval from the State Department of Health to proceed.
