The Minnesota Timberwolves, who had their scheduled Monday game with the Brooklyn Nets postponed, will now play on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET. Minnesota put off the contest after discussions with the league in the wake of the police shooting of Daunte Wright. Police shot Wright during a traffic stop in Minneapolis on the weekend. The Timberwolves joined the Minnesota Twins, who had their home game with the Boston Red Sox put off as a response to the shooting. Minnesota’s basketball club will hold today’s games without fans in attendance.
Kyrie Irving was set to miss Monday’s game for personal reasons and will still be out on Tuesday.
