Max Page was six years old when he was featured in the commercial that changed Super Bowl commercials forever. “The Force” aired during Super Bowl XLV in 2011, and starred Max as a mini Darth Vader who tries to use The Force on common objects around his house, among them the family dog, his sister’s doll, and a sandwich.
All of his efforts were failures until he tried his Sith powers on his dad’s Volkswagen Passat, which miraculously started when the boy extended his arms. Cut to his dad looking out the window, starting the car with his car remote (that was a new concept five years ago).
