Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports the Detroit Tigers have placed Miguel Cabrera on the 10-day Injured List due to a left biceps strain.
Cabrera, who missed most of the 2018 season due to a rupture of a left biceps tendon, has started seven games for the Tigers this season, spending time at first base and DH. He last played in a Saturday’s 11-3 loss to the Cleveland Indians, going 0 for 3.
In his 19th season in the majors and 14th with the Tigers, Cabrera is a career .313 hitter with 488 home runs.
