Nobody knows what it’s like to have insult added to injury quite like Michigan State co-defensive coordinator Harlon Barnett.
Barnett tore his Achilles during a 1-one-1 game with then-unsigned Class of 2015 recruit Khari Willis in August 2014. As it turns out, the game itself was a Level III NCAA violation, which the school self-reported. From MLive:
A Level III violation is defined by the NCAA as: “Violations that are isolated or limited in nature; provide no more than a minimal recruiting, competitive or other advantage; and do not include more than a minimal impermissible benefit.
