It looks like the Miami Heat has found a solution to the Meyers Leonard saga as ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that they’re close to finalizing a trade to ship the embattled center to Oklahoma City for Trevor Ariza and a 2027 second-round pick.
OKC is finalizing a trade to send Trevor Ariza to Miami for Meyers Leonard & a 2027 2nd round pick. Leonard must waive his no-trade clause, which he’s expected to do, sources told @wojespn.
Once completed, there’s no expectation that Leonard would be a part of OKC going forward.
