The Vegas Golden Knights will be without one of their more dynamic offensive players, as Max Pacioretty was scratched against the Los Angeles Kings with a lower-body injury.
Injury details are scant in today’s NHL, but the veteran forward played 18:17 in the Knights 4-2 against the Kings on Friday night, scoring two goals and finishing with five shots on net.
Patches has been a big part of the Knights’ offense this season. He’s played the second-most minutes of the Vegas forwards, posting the second-best Corsi rating and creating the fourth-most high-danger chances on the team.
Chandler Stephenson was promoted to the top-line with Pacioretty out.
