The Dallas Mavericks will have to try and gut out some extra effort on the second night of a back-to-back without Kristaps Porzingis in the lineup. Dallas will face the Washington Wizards on Saturday night without their big man on the court. The Mavs beat the Knicks last night in New York before heading on the road to Washington for tonight’s game. Porzingis played nearly 34 minutes while scoring 14 points, pulling down eight boards, and blocking a shot in Friday’s 99-86 Dallas victory over New York. The injury report lists the Mavs center with a knee issue, but this is definitely more of a rest situation for Porzings with a back-to-back on the schedule with travel involved.
