Matt Harvey Agrees to Minor League Deal With Orioles

Matt Harvey has agreed to a minor-league deal with the Baltimore Orioles, his third team since 2018.

A member of the Kansas City Royals for the 2020 season, Harvey started 12 games, posting a 0-3 record with a 7.71 K.9 and 11.57 ERA.

Drafted by the Mets in 2012, Harvey is 44-52 for his career, with an 8.28 K/9 and 4.14 ERA. He will join veterans Felix Hernandez and Wade LeBlanc, who have also agreed to minor league invites, in hopes of securing a spot on the Orioles rotation, who last year had a combined 4.51 ERA.
