Power forward Markieff Morris’ four-year tenure with the Phoenix Suns ended at Thursday’s trade deadline, as he was sent to the Washington Wizards for a conditional first-round draft pick. Morris had clashed with now-former-head-coach Jeff Hornacek earlier in the season, though it had been assumed he wanted out for some time. After clearing his locker and packing up his things, Morris got that triumphant “Jerry MaGuire” moment we all dream of when the chains of a shitty job are broken free.
He got to ride off into the sunset toward a better tomor…[crashing noise].
