Los Angeles Lakers beat writer Harrison Faigen confirmed that Kyle Kuzma and Marc Gasol are both out against the Brooklyn Nets Saturday night. Kuzma is out with a calf injury, while Gasol is resolving hamstring tightness.
Both forwards missed the Lakers’ most recent contest against the Miami Heat. Andre Drummond started at center and put up 15 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Wesley Matthews started at small forward and dropped 14 points in 28 minutes. Matthews’s participation in Saturday’s game is also in question, which means we could see Ben McLemore in the starting lineup.
