Scoring is going to have to come from somewhere else for the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday night. The Mavs will be without their top two scorers, as Luka Doncic (illness) and Kristaps Porzingis (right knee) are both being held out against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Porzingis put up a beastly 31 points and 18 rebounds last night against the Indiana Pacers, but the Mavs are electing not to push the big man and his surgically repaired knee. Doncic is missing both nights of the back-to-back.
Jalen Brunson started in place of Doncic last night and put up a respectable 10/4/2 line.
