The fifth season of “Game of Thrones” came to an end a few weeks ago, but Tennessee football is here to give you an extra fix.
The Vols are revealing new Nike uniforms — a welcome shift from adidas — at noon on July 1st, and are advertising for the occasion with some snappy punnery and Iron Throne Photoshopping.
So there sits Butch Jones, feet resting on a tower of orange Nike shoeboxes on a throne with a leather chair base and a back of cleats.
We’re not sure about Jones’ claim to the actual Iron Throne, but this one seems to suit him fine.
