Oregon isn’t wrong to adorn the walls of its facility with flattering quotes from accomplished college football coaches. This one from Urban Meyer is just a bit odd in hindsight.
The quote in question is one Meyer gave The Independent Florida Alligator in a story from 2010: “If you sit and watch a game on Saturday night and watch highlights, it’s pretty mesmerizing to watch Oregon play a college football game right now.”
Again, it’s not weird for Oregon to highlight high praise from a championship-winning coach.
