Lee Corso Can’t Wear FSU Mascot Head Because of Bill Murray Spear Incident

Florida State alum and “College GameDay” analyst Lee Corso is not allowed to don his alma mater’s mascot head for picks, and he has Bill Murray to thank.

During an interview at the College Football Hall of Fame on Monday, Corso said he has been prohibited from donning the Seminoles’ headdress since Murray, guest-picker before 2013’s Florida State/Clemson game, stole the spear and threw it into the crowd.

Lee Corso says he hasn’t been allowed to put on Seminoles mascot gear on Gameday since Bill Murray stole spear and threw it at Clemson game.

Of course Bill Murray shenanigans are at the root of this.
