Kyle Flood Suspended for 3 Games, Will Not be Confused for CIA Spy

Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood has been suspended for three games and fine $50,000 for violating the university’s compliance rules, according to an NJ.com report.

An investigation uncovered emails between Flood and a professor regarding the academic eligibility of CB Nadir Barnwell. Rutgers prohibits coaches from contacting faculty directly, and Flood was apparently not very good at covering his tracks.

Flood also told the professor when they met in person that he didn’t wear Rutgers apparel because he didn’t want to be recognized in public with the professor.
