Marte suffered a right hamstring strain while running out a grounder on Wednesday vs. the Rockies, and he ultimately had to be helped off the field. He wasn’t in the lineup for Thursday’s matinee vs. the Rockies, and the Diamondbacks have officially placed him on the 10-Day IL. The severity of the injury is still unknown, but the team has scheduled an MRI for Friday. Hopefully, there will be some more information available at that point, but expect Tim Locastro to handle the majority of the playing time in center field with Marte out of the lineup.
