One of the greatest rushers in Pac-12 history and greatest Oregon State players ever, Ken Simonton is never far from Beavers’ fans hearts and minds.
Simonton was a centerpiece in OSU’s backfield from 1998-2001, racking up 5,004 rushing yards (then-second, now third all-time in the Pac-12) and 60 total touchdowns.
His peak came as a junior when he rushed for a school-record 1,559 yards and propelled Oregon State (11-1) to its best season in school history, including a 41-7 Fiesta Bowl victory over Notre Dame.
Simonton bounced around the NFL, NFL Europe and CFL from 2002-08.
