Despite a regime change, not much has changed for the fortunes of Kansas football.
During the Jayhawks’ spring game on Saturday, senior QB Michael Cummings was injured after getting sacked by safety Michael Glatczak.
Said head coach David Beaty to the AP, “I’m not sure exactly what happened there. I was blocked on that deal. I’ve heard conflicting stories.” Beaty said Glatczak might have been blocked into Cummings.
The extent of the injury is unknown, and hopefully Cummings, who was fighting for the starting role, is OK.
Still, is there anything more Kansas than a QB in a red jersey getting sacked and injured during a spring game?
