Portland Trailblazers center Jusuf Nurkic will miss six weeks after surgery due to a fractured wrist on January 14.
Nurkic has been plagued with injuries during the last two seasons. He missed most of the 2019-20 season due to a leg injury suffered during the 2018-19 season.
Playing in 12 games this season, Nurkic has averaged 23 points, 10 points, seven rebounds and three assists.
Expect Enes Kanter to continue in a starting role. In the two games, he has started in place of Nurkic, Kanter has averaged 27 minutes, 10 points, 11 rebounds and four assists.
