The Florida jury that previously awarded Hulk Hogan (real name Terry Bollea) $115 million in the Gawker Media sex tape lawsuit has now dinged Gawker for an additional $25 million in punitive damages — including a $10 million personal judgment against the publisher and CEO, Nick Denton.
Hogan sued Gawker for posting a 2012 video of him having sex with the wife of his then-best friend. Both said they had no idea that they were being filmed, and were humiliated by the release of the video. Associated Press:
The editor responsible for the post, A.J. Daulerio, was assessed $100,000 in punitive damages.
