Bailey missed the Islanders 1-0 overtime victory over the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday and New York’s 3-0 loss to the Boston Bruins on Friday night. Bailey sustained the undisclosed injury at some point during the Islanders 4-1 defeat at Boston Thursday after playing just under seven minutes. The 2008 eighth overall draft pick has six goals and 25 points in 43 games this season. In five meetings with the Rangers this season, Bailey has averaged over 17 minutes of ice time but has just one assist.
