On their young second baseman, the Cincinnati Reds may be getting better news than they were bracing for. Jonathan India’s right hamstring issue should only keep him out for around two weeks. The diagnosis seems better than initially feared, as manager David Bell said the 25-year-old will miss “a couple weeks” but not “four-to-six weeks.”
India was only back from the injured list for five days before he aggravated the same hamstring. Bell when on to say, “He was trying to play through it, but it just wasn’t good enough to continue to play.
