Joe Musgrove throws first no-hitter in Padres’ history

Joe Musgrove throws the first no-hitter in Padres history. Musgrove has made an impressive start to his Padre career. He went six innings and only allowed three hits in a win over the Rangers in his first start and then a no-no in his second.

The only blemish on the night for Musgrove was when he hit Joey Gallo with a hit by pitch. Musgrove threw 110 pitches and struck out 10. David Dahl led off the ninth inning by smoking a line drive, but it was right at Jake Croneworth. A couple of feet to the left or right, and we aren’t talking about a no-hitter right now, maybe not even a complete game.
