Joc Pederson is an LA Dodger no more. According to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal, Pederson has signed a contract with the Chicago Cubs. The deal is believed to be for just one year with a price tag of $7 million as per Jeff Passan of ESPN. The former Dodger spent his entire seven-year career in Los Angeles after being drafted in the 11th round by the team out of high school in 2010. Pederson struggled in the shortened season last year, hitting just .190 with 7 HR and 16 RBI in 43 games. He did have a career year in 2019, though, hitting personal bests with 36 HR, 74 RBI, and 83 runs.
