Jeff Petry appears to be out for the Montreal Canadiens in Game 4 after dislocating his fingers last night against the Winnipeg Jets. The injury occurred when Petry appeared to get his hand caught in a camera hole in the glass. Arpon Basu notes that Petry is not taking warmups for the Habs, but Xavier Ouellet and Alexander Romanov were on the ice.

Petry is part of the Canadiens’ top-four defensemen, all of whom average 21:58 of ice time or more this postseason. Petry is used across all strengths, getting powerplay and penalty kill time, meaning that Shea Weber, Ben Chiarot, and Joel Edmundson will all be asked to increase their contributions with Petry out.
