Jayson Werth didn’t start off this season very well, and was taking heat from his own fans over the lack of production. Perhaps at age 37 he was done, many speculated. But Werth’s been hot lately, and on Wednesday it was his 12th-inning, run-scoring single that gave the Nationals a 5-4 win over Chicago.
