Gary Washburn of the Boston Globe reports that Jayson Tatum and Tacko Fall have been upgraded from questionable and are available to play tonight when the Celtics host the Memphis Grizzlies. Boston is on the second night of a back-to-back, and it was initially expected that Tatum would be given the night off to rest his ailing thumb injury.
Instead, Boston decided that their center, Tristan Thompson, who will get the night off.
The Grizzlies picked up their first win of the season two nights ago by defeating the Brooklyn Nets in overtime 116-111. Memphis managed to secure the win without their star point guard, Ja Morant, who sprained his ankle towards the first half.
