Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports that Lakers assistant Jason Kidd and former Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce have emerged as possible candidates to replace Brad Stevens as the Boston Celtics head coach.
Los Angeles Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd and former Atlanta Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce are expected to be head-coaching candidates for the Boston Celtics, league sources tell @YahooSports.
Ironically, it will be Brad Stevens who will actually do the hiring as he’ll be taking over as the Celtics’ new president of basketball operations with Danny Ainge retiring.
