Just days after being handed his walking papers by the Seattle Seahawks, Jarran Reed has reportedly found a new home with a perennial Super Bowl Contender. Ian Rapoport tweeted that Reed will be joining the Kansas City Chiefs on a one-year deal.
Reed was expendable to the Seahawks after spending the first few weeks of the new NFL season adjusting their defensive line. Seattle made a splash by signing San Francisco 49ers sacks leader Kerry Hyder. Subsequently, Carlos Dunlap, Benson Mayowa, and Poona Ford were all re-upped with the club.
The Chiefs aren’t relying on their defense to win them games, but there are a few areas of improvement.
