Ja’Marr Chase Runs Unofficial 4.38 40-Yard Dash

The race for the top spot among wide receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft is officially heating up. Chase is the favorite to earn that designation — he’s currently listed at -220 on FanDuel Sportsbook to be the first wide receiver drafted — and he certainly didn’t hurt himself at his pro day. He blazed an unofficial 4.38 40-yard dash, which is incredibly fast even by NFL standards. Only five receivers have clocked faster 40 times so far during pre-draft evaluations.

Chase didn’t suit up for LSU this season, but he was arguably the best receiver in college football in 2019.
