Jack Eichel was a late-scratch Thursday night as the Buffalo Sabres take on the New Jersey Devils. It’s reported that Eichel is dealing with a lower-body injury, which also kept him out of the morning skate.
Eichel has points in three of his last four, which has helped the Sabres win two of their last three. With Eichel out, Riley Sheahan was promoted to the top line and is skating between Sam Reinhart and Victor Olofsson. The Eichel-Reinhart-Olofsson line leads the Sabres with a combined 41 points.
Buffalo was slight underdogs when puck dropped, and live-betting is available at FanDuel Sportsbook.
