California has been an adventure for Donald Trump so far. The meaty-faced Republican front-runner first had an event in Costa Mesa this morning, where protesters were so raucous that skirmishes broke out with some of his supporters, and one pro-Trump man was punched in the face and sent to the hospital.
And right now he’s speaking in Burlingame, in Northern California (just south of San Francisco), where even more protesters have shown up. In fact, there were so many anti-Trump folks surrounding the Burlingame Hyatt that Trump and his entourage had to walk down a weedy embankment, climb over a concrete barrier (this is true) and scurry across a freeway to get into the hotel.
