One should never put ketchup on a hot dog, but there’s nothing wrong with a delicious dollop of karma.
At first glance it looks like there was a terrible tragedy at the Cleveland Indians Hot Dog Race on Wednesday, with the innocent victim being Ketchup, the costumed hot dog. But closer examination reveals that Ketchup had gained an enormous lead due to cheating … and then had the gall to start showboating down the final stretch.
This will not happen on Jason Kipnis’ watch.
The Indians’ second-baseman, who was running onto the field, shoulder-checked Ketchup and sent the costumed hot dog tumbling, allowing Mustard and Mayonnaise to get back into the race.
