In its infancy, TNA wrestling was a fun, niche wrestling company. If you weren’t into the superstars of WWE, you could turn to TNA to get your alternative wrestling fix. Featuring former WWE stars like Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett, along with up and comers like AJ Styles and Samoa Joe, TNA was able to reach the point where they were considered WWE’s main competition. The marketing budget was obviously small for the start up, so TNA smartly employed the biggest marketing genius they could find.
Don West worked for TNA from 2002 through 2012, schilling product both on screen and off screen.
